Beckers Group appoints Nicklas Augustsson Chief Sustainability Officer
Beckers has announced the appointment of Nicklas Augustsson as its first ever Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO), effective January 1, 2024. Nicklas will be a permanent member of the Executive Committee of Beckers Group, and will continue to report to Chief Technology Officer Gavin Bown.
Nicklas has been with Beckers for over 20 years, and has worked in various departments covering sales, research & development, and technical services. Since 2016 his focus has been sustainability, driving the Group sustainability agenda and heading the global sustainability team. He holds an M.Sc. in chemical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and studied Business Administration and Business Development at the Stockholm School of Economics, as well as Leadership at INSEAD.
