Two orphanages for children affected by HIV/AIDS receive help from Beckers

South Africa has the fastest growing HIV epidemic in the world with 6.1 million of the population infected. This has a drastic effect in many spheres of the society. One such effect is the large number of children who become orphaned as infected parents die. Also affected are those children who are abandoned when they are identified as HIV positive.

In 2017, we were pleased to continue our financial support of two orphanages in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Both the Tabitha and Doulos ministries provide care, shelter and a place to call home for young children whose lives have been affected by HIV/AIDS.
